ALBERTO ACHAR

Welcome to my website! My name is Alberto Achar and I am a London-based Petty Cash Buyer. However, what you see on this website are smaller projects I have worked on as a Production Designer. 

 

I was born and raised in Mexico City. I moved to the United States when I was 18 and in 2018, I got a Master's degree in Film Studies from Chapman University in California. There, I also earned B.A. degrees in both Film Studies and Psychology in 2017.

During my time at university, I discovered a passion for Production Design by working on student film sets. Ever since then, I have been involved in designing short films that have been part of film festivals all over the world. 

 

After university, I moved to New York, where I was part of the Art Department of TV shows like NBC's Manifest and Paramount's Younger, as well as an independent horror film Separation (dir. William Brent Bell).

After living in New York for over a year, I decided to move to the UK to keep doing what I love to do, and have since worked on TV shows like Killing Eve, Back to Life, Top Boy, and Guy Ritchie's upcoming TV series The Gentlemen.
